A prophet recently gave me a message from God that grabbed my attention ad opened my eyes (you would think that all messages from God would do this--but then again you probably don't know me!!). She told me that I was at a crossroads and it was time for me to make a decision. Well of course I was going to choose God and go His direction. But how?  Wouldn't you know the second part of the word was that I have not because I ask not.  Makes sense.  I didn't have direction because I didn't ask for direction.

Think about it, the hardest question for us to ask is for help.  Especially from God.  We can ask him "How come?", "Why didn't You?", "Why won't You?", "When will You?"--but very rarely "HELP ME?"

The hardest thing for me to do was to surrender my plans, hopes and dreams and ask God to sift through them to see if they fit into His hopes, dreams and plans for my life. It was a huge trial for me to ask God to help me find the direction He wanted me to go in, help me with the strength I needed to keep walking down that direction, and help me to continually put my flesh to death so that I could continue to be an empty vessel full of His Life for him to control. I have done this and continue to on a daily basis and it seems like everything else just falls to the side or into its place.

I guess I have said all of this to say: Call on God!! Ask him for help first and the answer you get will most likely answer all the other questions you might have. The God who made you and called you will keep you and sustain you--after all you are part of His plan--His glory depends on it!!
